Shrinkage pressure

Due to the chemical reaction between the A and B component, potting materials tend to shrink as they change from liquid to solid state. The shrinkage may cause stress to the components to be potted and can damage the part. The shrinkage effect depends on the chemistry, volume and the geometry of the part.
