What carried us into the world? 

The entrepreneurial vision and courage of Rudolf Rampf.

In 1980, Rudolf Rampf founds RAMPF Kunststoffsysteme GmbH in a former gymnasium in Grafenberg – the beginning of an ongoing success story.

With technical expertise and innovative spirit, the chemical technician develops the first-ever polyurethane modeling board, revolutionizing model and mold making and eliminating the need for tropical hardwoods.

This pioneering spirit continues to define the RAMPF Group today. The one‑man operation has grown into an international family business with over 900 employees. The founder’s passion for innovation, quality, and sustainability is carried forward in the second generation by his sons Michael and Matthias.
