RAMPF at Filtech 2026: Electrically conductive potting compounds and automated mixing and dispensing technology – Hall 8 / Booth E29

Key Takeaways

  1. FDA‑approved, electrically conductive polyurethane potting compounds from RAMPF enable simple, efficient processing thanks to high flowability and self‑leveling properties, eliminating the need for complex conveying systems.
  2. ATEX‑compliant polyurethane systems for casting and bonding impress with high electrical conductivity, low viscosity, temperature resistance, and strong adhesion to both metal and plastics.
  3. RAMPF supplies high‑performance, low‑maintenance mixing and dispensing systems for sealing, potting, and bonding filter elements, featuring customized automation for maximum efficiency and consistently high quality.

Manufacturing filter systems quickly, easily, and with maximum process reliability: RAMPF presents high‑performance polyurethane systems and automated mixing and dispensing technology for potting, bonding, and sealing at Filtech in Cologne from June 30 to July 2 – Hall 8 / Booth E29.

Conductive Potting Compounds with FDA Approval

Two-component polyurethane systems from RAMPF Advanced Polymers are certified in accordance with FDA 21 CFR 175.105 and can optionally be formulated to comply with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011.

With electrical conductivity of < 1 MΩ/cm and a low mixed viscosity of 3,500 to 5,500 mPa·s, the potting compounds are highly flowable and self-leveling. This enables reliable casting of complex geometries without the need for sophisticated conveying systems.

Users benefit from simpler processes, reduced equipment requirements, and greater efficiency in potting operations.

In addition, the systems offer high chemical resistance and are available in Shore hardnesses ranging from 50A to 80D.

Trade show highlight: RAKU® PUR 50-2022 – Potting without air entrapment

This specially developed rigid foam system is ideal for casting applications without system-induced air entrapment. It is based on the chemical reaction between water and isocyanate, during which CO₂ is generated to form a uniform, foam-like structure without any external air supply. RAKU® PUR 50-2022 stands out for its well-balanced start and curing profile, short curing cycles, and excellent flow properties at 35 °C.

Potting and Bonding of Filter Elements with ATEX Explosion Protection

ATEX-compliant polyurethane systems from RAMPF for casting and bonding filter elements offer very high electrical conductivity of up to 0.01 MΩ/cm, eliminating the need for complex mechanical grounding solutions. Conductivity remains stable even under demanding conditions: tests show no significant changes after 1,000 hours at 120 °C in coolant media.

The low-viscosity, self-leveling materials can be processed easily using standard mixing and dispensing equipment. They are available in Shore hardnesses of 80A (RAKU® PUR 80-6085) and 80D (RAKU® PUR 80-6185). The systems also demonstrate excellent chemical resistance, with no loss of tensile strength or hardness after 64 days in compressor oil at 100 °C.

Automated Sealing, Potting, and Bonding of Filter Elements

RAMPF Production Systems delivers automated mixing and dispensing systems for the precise sealing, potting, and bonding of filter elements which are engineered to meet specific customer requirements.

The combination of low-maintenance equipment and customized automation ensures consistently high quality, maximum efficiency, and stable, reproducible processes. This applies both to the production of filter frames and end caps as well as the precise dispensing of reactive materials into molds.

Especially in high-volume production, users benefit from end-to-end, flexibly scalable manufacturing solutions. Dynamic mixing technology ensures optimal material reactivity across a wide viscosity range, while perfectly coordinated conveying, conditioning, and dispensing systems guarantee precise application results.

Integrated automation with robotics, part handling, plasma surface treatment, release agent application, as well as vision systems and sensor technology reduces manual intervention and sustainably increases productivity.

For greater transparency and control, the intuitive RAMPF HMI consolidates all relevant process data and makes it available to higher-level systems, providing an ideal foundation for digitalization and further automation.
