Step by Step for a Good Cause: 3,844 Kilometers in Support of Charity
Walking and running together for a good cause: Employees of the RAMPF Group, their families, sponsoring partners, and a three-time Olympian covered a total distance of 3,844 kilometers (2,400 miles) at the third edition of the RAMPF Charity Run. Their sporting achievement helped raise €17,323 (US$19,700) for the GrafenTigeR Childcare Association, Sonnenstrahlen e.V. Pfullingen, and the Rudolf Rampf Foundation.
A total of 495 participants turned every step into a valuable donation at the RAMPF Charity Run. Alongside employees and their families, representatives of RAMPF-sponsored sports clubs – including TUSSIES Metzingen, TuS Metzingen Leichtathletik, TSV Grafenberg, TC Grafenberg, and TV Neuhausen – took part in the event at Metzingen’s Otto Dipper Stadium. Joining them at the starting line was Olympian Sabrina “Mocki” Mockenhaupt-Gregor.
Together, the runners completed 9,610 laps of the 400-meter track. For every lap completed, RAMPF donated one euro, initially contributing €9,610. RAMPF CEOs Matthias and Michael Rampf then increased this amount to €16,720. An additional €603 was raised through voluntary donations and beverage sales.
As a result, the RAMPF Charity Run 2026 generated a total donation of €17,323, which will be distributed among the GrafenTigeR Childcare Association, Sonnenstrahlen e.V. Pfullingen, and the Rudolf Rampf Foundation.
The commitment and enthusiasm shown by all participants once again made this event a tremendous success. We achieved a new record both in the number of participants and the total amount raised. A special thank-you goes to our employees on the organizing team and to the volunteers from the participating clubs, whose efforts ensured ideal conditions and the seamless execution of the event. The Charity Run demonstrates the strong sense of community and social responsibility that defines our organization.

A serious illness affecting a parent impacts the entire family. Sonnenstrahlen e.V. supports children, adolescents, and their families through a range of counseling and assistance programs. The organization provides a space for sharing experiences, finding comfort, and gaining renewed strength. All services are offered free of charge and are funded entirely through donations and membership contributions.

Rudolf Rampf Foundation
Guided by the principle “Children are our future,” the Rudolf Rampf Foundation has supported projects for children and young people in Grafenberg since 2001. Its main areas of focus include music education through local music associations, youth sports, and general youth development initiatives. Through its support, the foundation helps strengthen young people's personal development, foster a sense of community, and create attractive opportunities for the next generation.
