Media resistance

Media resistance is a material property of casting and bonding systems, which are frequently used for applications in aggressive media such as brake fluids, oils, and fuels. In order to withstand the chemical influences of these aggressive media, the casting and bonding systems must fulfil certain chemical resistance requirements. A good media resistance depends on the density of the resin's polymeric structure  –  the higher the density, the higher the chemical resistance.
