Nature and purpose of processing:

Every time you use the Internet, certain information is automatically transmitted by your Internet browser and collected and stored by us in server log files. The following information in particular is stored in these server log files:

The data entered in the contact form is processed on the basis of a legitimate interest (point (f) of Art. 6(1) GDPR) in enabling us to contact you as easily as possible.

Recipients:
Recipients of the data may be the affiliated companies in the RAMPF Group, whose details you can see in the “Imprint” section, and may also be processors. Personal data is transferred within the RAMPF Group of companies for internal administrative purposes of the central customer support and order processing team, and to reply to your request.

Storage duration:
Your data will be deleted no later than 6 months after the request has been processed.
If a contractual relationship is established, we are subject to the statutory retention periods of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and will delete your data on expiry of these periods.

If you use the form on the website to contact us, we will store your name, address, e-mail address, and phone number.

Nature and purpose of processing:
The data you enter will be stored for the purpose of preparing a quote, for individual communication, and for processing a potential contract with you. This requires you to provide a valid e-mail address, your phone number, your name, and your address. These details are used to assign the request/order and then process it. Indicating the company’s name and VAT number is optional.

Legal basis:
The data entered in the form is processed to take steps prior to entering into a contract (point (b) of Art. 6(1) GDPR).

Our intention in providing the form is to make it easy for you to get in touch and submit an order request. The details you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for potential follow-up questions.

Recipients:
The data will only be used internally. The recipient of the data is RAMPF Machine Systems GmbH & Co. KG, an affiliated company in the RAMPF Group whose details you can see in the “Imprint” section. Personal data is transferred within the RAMPF Group of companies for internal administrative purposes of the central customer support and order processing team, and to reply to your request.

Storage duration:
If a contractual relationship is established, we are subject to the applicable statutory retention periods and will delete your data on expiry of these periods.
If no contract is entered into (e.g. the quote remains open), we will delete the data no later than 6 months after processing the request.

Nature and purpose of processing:
For registration to take effect, we need a valid e-mail address. In order to ensure the actual owner of a given e-mail address is registering, we use the double opt-in process. During this process, we log the newsletter request, the sending of a confirmation e-mail, and the receipt of the reply requested in this e-mail.

You indicate your name so that we can address you personally in the newsletter and identify you should you wish to exercise your rights as a data subject.

Your data will be used for the sole purpose of sending the newsletter.

Legal basis:
Based on your explicit consent (point (a) of Art. 6(1) GDPR), we will regularly send you our newsletter and/or comparable information by e-mail at the e-mail address you have provided.

You may revoke your consent to your personal data being stored, and to it being used to send the newsletter, at any time with future effect. There is a corresponding link in each newsletter. This website uses rapidmail to send newsletters. The provider is rapidmail GmbH, Augustinerplatz 2, 79098 Freiburg i.Br., Germany. The rapidmail service can be used, among other things, to organize and analyze the sending of newsletters. The data you enter to obtain the newsletter will be stored on the servers of rapidmail in Germany.

If you do not wish to be subject to analysis by rapidmail, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter directly on the website.

For analysis purposes, the e-mails sent using rapidmail include a tracking pixel that connects to rapidmail’s servers when the e-mail is opened. This makes it possible to establish whether a newsletter message has been opened.

With the help of rapidmail, we can also establish whether links in the newsletter message have been clicked and, if so, which ones. All links in the e-mail are tracking links that can count your clicks.

Conclusion of a processing contract

How can I delete my data and/or prevent it from being stored?

We embed YouTube videos in some of our websites. The operator of the corresponding plug-ins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (hereinafter “YouTube”).
