With Courage and Strength for Terminally Ill Children and Adolescents

Wangen (Göppingen), 02/05/20.

RAMPF Machine Systems has donated the proceeds of its traditional Christmas raffle in the amount of 1,000 euros to the Children’s and Youth Hospice Göppingen. The employees of the Malteser Aid Service support children and adolescents with life-threatening or shortening illness as well as their siblings and parents.

“To be companion and contact person for terminally ill children and adolescents, as well as their parents, siblings, and friends, requires enormous courage and strength,” says Thomas Altmann, CEO of RAMPF Machine Systems. “We have great respect for the dedication of the staff of the children’s and youth hospice and would like to support them with our donation.”

The Göppingen hospice was founded in 2009. Currently there are 31 volunteers caring for 19 families with a sick child, adolescent, or parent. Furthermore, 17 children and adolescents as well as nine adults are in the facility's bereavement support groups.

Since 2000, the employees of RAMPF Machine Systems from Wangen (Göppingen) have been donating the proceeds of their Christmas raffle to charitable projects in the region.
