Dispensing Systems & Robots Career

“discover the future” is our promise – everyone who works at RAMPF enjoys challenges, developing new technologies, and implementing innovations. This allows ideas to flow – and generates solutions for a secure future.

In order to continue the successful development of RAMPF Production Systems in view of new and ever-more demanding challenges, we take on new trainees every year. We give committed and qualified young people the opportunity to get to know our innovative company and to start a successful professional career.

Despite the Corona crisis – trainees are always welcome at RAMPF

At the start of the training year 2020, three mechatronics engineers, a technical product designer, and an industrial clerk have started their career in Zimmern ob Rottweil.

Bernd Faller, Managing Director of RAMPF Production Systems:

Even in the current difficult economic situation, we have not reduced the number of apprenticeships, because our trainees are the future of our company.

Almost all trainees start working at RAMPF Production Systems after completing their exams – a clear commitment to the region and the professional competence of our employees, most of whom come from the Rottweil district.

Training Manager Heiko Wurster:

Specialists for the development and construction of high-tech dispensing systems and automation systems are best ‘grown’ in-house.

For four years, he has been looking after the mechatronics technicians in the trainee workshop, which RAMPF affectionately calls the “Future Forge”. Heiko is contact person and tutor for all technical trainees on their way to the IHK degree (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) and a successful career in the RAMPF team.

The trained mechatronics engineers perform a wide variety of tasks. Thanks to their extensive training, they can find their way in production, application technology, and technical service just as easily as in software development or electronics design. The broad spectrum of mechatronics training, with or without subsequent training, offers excellent career opportunities for graduates as well as an exciting job.

Technical Product Design – developing high-tech machinery

The trainee program Technical Product Design at RAMPF Production Systems offers similarly good prospects in the area of construction. During their training, the young talents work in all technical departments and accompany the development process of a dispensing system from production planning, electronics design, and application technology to robot simulation, assembly, service, and repair.

The commercial areas of purchasing, quality assurance, and documentation are also part of the three-year training as a technical product designer, making this program very varied.

Trained specialists gain experience across the Group

As an industrial clerk, the trainees go through all administrative departments and also visit the RAMPF holding company in Grafenberg for a few weeks to get to know the entire group of companies and their fields of employment.

In any case, the RAMPF locations are very closely connected; the marketing, IT, and HR departments centralized in the holding company form the heart of the group and ensure bundled know-how and an uniform appearance.

The RAMPF Academy, which offers all employees further training in the form of courses and workshops, including a health management program, helps our employees to get to know each other, network, and develop their talents.

Many young professionals find their dream job within the RAMPF Group or even in one of our foreign branches. Twelve company locations worldwide represent our six core competencies in the areas of engineering & chemical solutions and offer the trained specialists ample space to develop their own ideas and bring them to market.

This pronounced innovative strength, coupled with a lot of passion and the RAMPF values, which determine how we work together and the way we present ourselves to the outside world, is a cornerstone for the success of our family company.

Testimonial from our trainee Laura Ahmetaj – Industrial Clerk

My training as an industrial clerk at RAMPF Production Systems came about indirectly. After completing secondary school and vocational college, I was initially unable to find an apprenticeship, which is why I took on a job in the warehouse at RAMPF Production Systems through a service provider. I felt very comfortable in Zimmern right from the start and soon got the chance to complete my training in the company. I am very grateful to the whole team and especially warehouse manager Jürgen Faller for his encouragement and support.
