Duroplast (Thermosetting polymer)

Thermosetting resins are plastics that cannot be deformed and melted after hardening. Thermosets are generated by the hardening of epoxies, amongst others, and retain their hardness even with increasing heat. Thermosets are very often used in automotive engineering, e. g. brake linings.
