Dispensing rate

A mixing head’s dispensing rate indicates the amount of material that can be dispensed in a specified period of time, e.g. grams per second (g/s), and therefore a system’s dispensing speed. The lower the dispensing rate, the smaller the amount of mixture required. The dispensing head, the size of the tube, and the quantity dispensed are optimized in line with the production process, the component, and the relevant requirements. The dispensing rate is already calculated at the design stage. In addition to the size of the mixing chamber and the associated mixer, correct sizing of the dispensing pump is also crucial. RAMPF uses very high-precision gear and piston pumps for dispensing.
