Homopolymerisation

Homopolymerization describes the process of the polymerization of a single type of monomer to form a homopolymer. A homopolymer is therefore a polymer created by identical monomer units. It could be initiated by different factors: heat, catalyst, humidity... The homopolymerisation of a material (A or B) could lead to a viscosity increase and a decrease of the reactivity of the system.
