Flame protection

Flame protection is a material property obtained by adding additives (flame retardants) during the production process. In the event of a fire, flame retardants intervene with chemical reactions, cooling or coating, which keeps the flammability and combustibility of plastics low. Halogen-free flame protection is growing and increasingly substituting controversial, halogen-containing solutions.
