Casting resin

A casting resin is a synthetic resin which is applied in casting systems for reinforcing and protecting products. The liquid resin is poured into a part or a form and then cures. The cured resin forms a permanent bond with the part and protects it against mechanical stresses such as vibration, mechanical damage, and environmental influences such as moisture. It also acts as an insulant.
