In the current environment, we expect a positive financial year,” announced Michael Rampf, CEO of RAMPF Holding GmbH & Co. KG, at the press conference held last Wednesday, August 15, 2012, to mark the end of the financial year 2011/2012. RAMPF is a development partner and system supplier for customized solutions in reactive casting resins, processing technologies, and machine systems. The family-run group comprises five companies in Germany and three international branches. Based in Grafenberg in southern Germany, RAMPF has around 550 employed personnel worldwide. The number of the employers at the RAMPF Group has risen by 20 percent over the financial year, from 444 to 533 (as of June 30, 2012). It's as easy as making popcorn – simply apply and wait for it to expand. RAMPF Giessharze, a manufacturer of polyurethane and epoxy resin systems and silicones, has developed the fast-curing soft integral foam RAKU-PUR Speed for adhesion to all kinds of materials in assembly processes in complex production lines. Once the foam has been applied, the component is suitable for immediate further processing without the need to invest in curing equipment. Costly storage in curing ovens or storage systems is now a thing of the past.
Innovations from RAMPF Giessharze are used in all key industries worldwide, but there is little awareness of reactive casting resins among the general public. The resin specialists at RAMPF Giessharze are now taking part in the German Industrial Film Award with their corporate movie “We love challenges”. This year, the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology will present the German Industrial Film Award for the 45th time in recognition of exceptional films made by industry and about industry.
A product, material or process that has been seen and experienced at first hand, creates a lasting impression. So, RAMPF Tooling, one of the leading producers of materials for model, mold and tool making, together with its Dutch distributor VIBA NV invited a number of customers from the Benelux countries to a special open day at RAMPF Tooling. On the basis of presentations and practical product demonstrations RAMPF showcased its latest product developments for the foundry industry which included the DDM free gelcoat and casting systems as well as the respective test methods. As a special guest, the chairman of the Dutch modeling association NVVM attended the open day.
A number of well-known automotive companies visited RAMPF Tooling for a business presentation entitled “trend-setting large volume castings” on March 8th, 2012. RAMPF Tooling is one of the internationally leading producers of modeling and tooling boards. “To maintain our partnerships is an important focus point for us and we are therefore delighted that so many partners responded to our invitation to Grafenberg“, announced Michael Rampf, Chief Executive Officer RAMPF Holding, whilst welcoming the visitors. Around 90 visitors from the modeling, design and manufacturing areas of the leading automotive companies and suppliers in Germany and neighboring countries attended RAMPF Tooling’s business presentation. The live demonstrations of a 1:1 close contour cast automotive model were a clear highlight of the event.
It’s surely a very good omen for the continued success of one of the leading manufacturers of low-pressure mixing and dispensing machines. At the turn of the year, Bernd Faller, Managing Director of RAMPF Dosiertechnik in Zimmern o.R., and Rudolf Rampf, founder of RAMPF and CEO RAMPF Holding, congratulated eleven members of staff at RAMPF Dosiertechnik on the 10th, 25th, 30th and 35th anniversaries of their time at the company.
Chemicals, foodstuffs, cleaning agents and aromatic substances are kept, transported and stored in drums and containers. Bayern-Fass supplies the industry mainly with reconditioned drums, IBCs and canisters. In future, the family company will also manufacture new drums made of steel at its site in Aichach. This new product range of 200-litre drums is designed to carry materials in solid and paste form. When it comes to sealing the lid of the drum, Bayern-Fass has opted for a particularly tear-resistant and adhesive material with excellent compression recovery from RAMPF Giessharze, specialists in the development, production and sale of resin systems made of polyurethane, epoxy and silicon.
